Alice is about to embark on her third trip to Maine. We've been reading Goodnight Maine every night in preparation. On her first trip, she was eight months old. Her food of choice was pureed vegetables and toes. Is that a delicious puree of peas and potatoes smeared on her face at the American Folk Festival?
Toy of choice? Classic. Blocks.
She took her second trip at eighteen months of age. Favorite food? Pasta and tomato sauce.
Favorite toys? Anything challenging to carry, and anything to do with water.
What will the Maine experience be like this summer, at 29 months, and with baby (swiftly turning into toddler) Simon visiting, too? We can't wait!
